Helping Feed Local Homebound Seniors

Across America, and in our own neighborhoods in particular, elders who have lived within their means and worked hard throughout their long lives, supporting them selves and their families, are very concerned to find that they must now choose between buying food and filling their prescriptions, heating their home or paying rent or taxes. Some of our neighbors simply don't have the money, or the legs, to take them selves to a neighborhood hunger center, or even the local grocery store. These good people were lucky to live outside the culture of poverty until now, when the great society they created changed, and neglected to insure that they have a little food at home. These folks often have great pride, which previously would have made accepting charity food unimaginable. Now, this "greatest of generations" must often rely on the kindness of strangers simply to put a bit of food in their stomachs.

There is good news though! All Faiths Pantry is a simple program, which efficiently brings vital nutritional assistance to our neighbors with little income or mobility. The very best news is that you can make a very real difference.
